Bryher Mackenzie is twenty-four-years-old and can often be found experimenting with page turns, writing about family dynamics, or wearing outrageously colourful dungarees. Sometimes, they just about manage all three. As well as being a member of SCBWI, they studied Sociology and History at unniversity and took part in a picture book course with Curtis Brown Creative. Bryher lives with her partner in Shropshire, where they wait for the sunflowers to bloom and are currently turning their home into a library.
Bryher is personally exploring gender and is more than happy to use both she/they pronouns. Rhiannon Archard is a Welsh illustrator, who studied Illustration at Camberwell UAL. In 2021 she was a Post Irish Book Award winner, winning the Specsavers Children's Book of the Year (Junior). She loves bringing magical worlds to life with her art and when she isn't busy working, you'll find her snuggling with her cat or on adventures with her daughter. Rhiannon lives in Kent. |
