In this book the author (not to be confused with the homonymous American photographer Imogen Cunningham) collects some of the poetry she wrote - for private enjoyment only - throughout decades. They are a declaration of love to flowers, indeed. But the flowers themselves are also a means to talk about her life - about the experiences one might have throughout one's life - without the exhibitionism that someone like Imogen cannot stand.
Other flowers - other poems - could be added, but these are the ones the author felt comfortable sharing at this point. May they be sufficient for the enjoyment of the reader.
