Dr James S. Corum is an internationally recognized expert on military airpower and counter-insurgency. Recently retired from two decades of teaching at leading Western defense colleges, he has also served as a strategic planner and is a retired US Army lieutenant colonel with an intelligence background. An award-winning author of 15 books and more than 70 major journal articles and book chapters, he is now an independent historian and consultant, and lives in Alabama. Graham Turner is a leading historical artist, specializing in the medieval period. He has illustrated numerous titles for Osprey, covering a wide variety of subjects from the dress of the 10th-century armies of the Caliphates, through the action of bloody medieval battles, to the daily life of the British Redcoat of the late 18th century. The son of the illustrator Michael Turner, Graham lives and works in Buckinghamshire, UK. |
