Ellen Pearce grew up in Tarrytown, New York, and was
educated (formally) in New York, Ohio, and Missouri. She
have lived and worked in Europe and diverse corners of
the U.S. at occupations as various as farming and spinning
the platters in a French discotheque.She now lives in rural
Missouri. Her first volume of poetry (Life in (very) Minor
Works) was published by October House (New York). Her
essays, poetry, and fiction have appeared in The Christian
Science Monitor, New Letters, the Rockford Review, Buffalo
Bones, the Flint Hills Review, and many other journals and
anthologies. The present collection includes works spanning
two decades.
