The following is a collection of poems written in chronological order throughout my transformation. I have decided to share my journey with all inquisitive minds curious about how one survives a long season of incarceration. From the moment those silver bracelets were slapped on my wrists I was stripped of everything! I was forced to live under conditions to which I am not accustomed, yet I realize I had made my bed.
