Doris Bourgeois-Darling, nee Dorice Leger was born in Moncton , New Brunswick , Canada,and raised by her father and her grandparents in a small village named Saint Marcel. She immigrated to the United States in the early sixties as a young adult; where she became an American citizen and raised her own family. After her retirement from her nursing career, this great grandmother decided to write about her life's experiences for her family's enjoyment.
