Having come from a failed family, failed at suicide and
failed a medical degree, Bryce Colt finds himself working
in a hotel that acts as a front for an art crime syndicate.
Desperate to fit in somewhere, Colt finds himself
on guard duty for the recently returned, wayward
younger brother; the enigmatic Edvard Bodansky. The
flamboyant, disfigured, mentally fragile and often times
violent transvestite, Edvard, seduces Colt into modelling
for him and eventually being his redeemer. All too
soon, Colt is way out of his depth in both a job and
relationship that prove severely hazardous to his health.
Edvard may wear the scars of his past all over his body,
but when his past catches up on him he is forced to face
up to demons he thought he'd buried long ago, leading
him on a potential path to self-destruction. Has Colt
fallen too deeply that his love for Eddie will override his
need for self-preservation?
When skin tears, the scar tissue that repairs the injury is
stronger, tougher; just as long as it's given time to heal
and the cut isn't too deep.
